"You're Actually a Good Writer" is now available for order from the AHEAD online shop. 

Taking the metaphor of constructing a building, "You're Actually a Good Writer.." takes a flatpack approach to academic writing and helps you or your students build an assignment from the ground up. The guide was written by Helen Carroll and published by AHEAD and is aimed at all third level students who need help putting together their academic essays, although it is particularly helpful for students with a specific learning difficulty. 

Carroll says “It became obvious to me that many students struggle, not because they can’t understand the material, but because they cannot write assignments….I have put together an ‘assignment flatpack’ - a simple system to enable you to construct an assignment with the minimum of fuss”
