WAM Employer Toolkit: Tips, Tools & Guidelines
A product of the EQUAL WAM pilot project (2005-2007) developed with the purpose of assisting in-company personnel with the running of WAM placements. However, since the focus of WAM is opening mainstream labour market access for graduates with disabilities, it is also intended that this toolkit be of relevance to the wider business community. Content that may be of use for those wishing to recruit and employ people with disabilities includes recruitment and selection tips, the WAM Mentoring Model, WAM Needs Assessment process and a template for a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP).
