Making the Mainstream Inclusive - Graduate Programmes
Wednesday, 6th March 2019
The WAM Programme at AHEAD is running a free training event on how to make graduate programmes more inclusive to graduates with disabilities, hosted and sponsored by WAM employer, Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Date: 11th April
Time: 10am to 1pm
Location: The Clayton Hotel – Leopardstown – Dublin
Many companies offer structured graduate programmes to recruit highly competent employees and to shape them into the future leaders, specialists and key figures of the organisation. Graduate programmes often offer a greater insight of the organisation’s different departments by rotation, structured training programmes, mentoring and a more successive career curve within the company.
With nearly 15,000 students with disabilities currently enrolled in higher education, equating to 6.2% of the total student population, is your company sure that your recruitment practices are accessible and inclusive to this untapped pool of future talent?
This event will look at showcasing some of our WAM employers who have worked with WAM over the past number of years to embed The WAM Programme methodology into their graduate programmes. It will also be an opportunity to share your organisation’s practices and concerns whilst learning from other employers and getting practical advice in relation to assessment procedures.
Topics will include
- Psychometric Tests
- Assessment Centres
- Group Interviews
- Reasonable Accommodation
The target audience for this event is for graduate programme managers and other relevant HR staff from our WAM employers.
This event is by invite only.
This event is kindly sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
