What to Expect at Building the Future 2023

Please find below the accessibility measures AHEAD has put in place who are attending virtually. If you require individualised accommodations, please mention them when booking your ticket or email getahead@ahead.ie.

• Information Pack

Attendees will recieve an email a week before the event outlining the Zoom links for the opening panel discussion and workshops and reminding you of your CV and Mock Interview appointments if you have booked this.

• Speaker Training

All Speakers are briefed on guidance on giving inclusive presentations.

• Live-Captioning for Workshops 

All workshops from 1pm - 3pm will have live-captions available on screen. 

• Individualised Supports and Other Specific Requirements

Please note, individualised supports must be requested when you book your ticket for the virtual event or you can email getahead@ahead.ie. This includes but not limited to: 

• Slides in Advance
• ISL (Irish Sign Language) Interpreters
• Captioning for Virtual Mock Interview or CV Clinic
