Think Twice about your Transferrable Life Skills!

The GetAHEAD programme at AHEAD are providing a free virtual workshop on the importance of transferable life skills in shaping the journey to employment for students and graduates.

When:  Wednesday, January 31st from 2pm to 3pm

Where:  Online Zoom

How do you pull from life experiences outside of education or employment and apply them to your job search and employment journey? Over the course of your life, you have been developing valuable transferable skills that you can apply to your CV, in interviews and to your existing role if you are in employment - the next step is about identifying these skills and highlighting them in your job search.

Join us for an hour-long workshop where WAM Project Officer Wyndham Chalmers will share valuable insights into her research on the importance of soft skill development in securing employment. The team from the National Youth Council of Ireland will then present on Skills Summary, their online tool designed to empower young individuals to confidently map out their core competencies and effectively communicate the unique value of their skills to future employers.

Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to unlock your potential and stand out in the job market!

This session is free to attend but places are limited so please register in advance to secure your place and let us know if you have any accessibility accommodations for this webinar.
