Applications are currently open with ESB for one ring-fenced position on ESB's IT Graduate Programme specifically working in the area of Digital Delivery and Project Management. This position is for a two-year contract and will commence in September 2027.
Role Requirements
- You should have (or be a final year student working towards) a minimum NFQ Level 8 Honours Degree in IT, Computer Sciences, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Finance or an equivalent course where IT was a component.
- Achieved, or expected to achieve a minimum of 2.1 grade in your degree.

Digital Delivery and Project Management IT Graduate Programme - Job Description
The Digital Delivery and Project Management graduate stream at ESB is designed for graduates who are interested in the business side of delivering technology and change, rather than software development or programming.
Working within ESB's IT function, you will help shape and deliver strategic initiatives that improve how the organisation operates, serves customers and delivers value. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders across the business, supporting projects, products and change initiatives that enable ESB's digital transformation.
Location – Base location for the role is ESB’s Head Office, F27, Dublin 2.
Smart Working – The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor days per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.
Educational Requirements – Applicants should have achieved, or be expected to achieve, a minimum of 2.1 grade in a minimum NFQ Level 8 Honours Degree in IT, Computer Sciences, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Finance or an equivalent course where IT was a component.
