This will be a conversation between Caoimhe O’Malley and Aoife O’Leary, who are both part of the Adult team at Dyslexia Ireland, about the various ways technology can be used to support dyslexic adults in education and the workplace. They will discuss technology for reading and spelling/writing as well as technology that may alleviate other, lesser-known aspects of dyslexia such as working memory challenges. They will also discuss some of the most common questions they get asked about dyslexia and assistive technology. For example, we are often asked by dyslexic adults in the workplace if we can recommend assistive technology for reading and writing that does not connect to the cloud and does not collect user data. Five minutes at the end will be allocated for questions and answers.
