Power of Disability: Breaking Barriers
AHEAD and the Union of Students in Ireland are happy to present the Power of Disability Conference 2025, taking place February 12th and 13th.
This two-day online event will include discussions, presentations and feedback sessions encouraging students with disabilities to be leaders on their own campuses and will build practical skills on self-advocacy and constructive advocacy.
Day 1 of the conference will focus on student empowerment and advocacy. With talks on navigating college life with a disability, using student engagement as a tool for change and enhancing accessibility in education.
Day 2 of the event focuses on career development for students with disabilities, speaking to Student Unions who are accessibility champions on their campuses and a feedback session.
Registration is free to attend, but registration is limited so you must book a spot in advance.
