Following the 2024 general election, this document sets out AHEAD's three key priorities which should be included in the new programme for government to support the access and inclusion of disabled people in tertiary education and graduate employment.
The document is intended to assist education and enterprise spokespersons and programme for government negotiators in political parties to refine and strengthen their commitments within the new programme for government. The three key priorities explored are:
1 - Universally Design Tertiary Education
2 - Invest in Education Support Services
3 - Address the Added Cost of Disability
