WAM Leader Awards 2026
The WAM Leader Awards 2026 took place on the 29th September at the ESB Headquarters, Dublin 2. The WAM Leader Awards are given to employers to recognise their contribution in facilitating WAM placements and promoting the employment of graduates with disabilities for 2025-26.
WAM partnered with 32 major employers in securing 67 positions for graduates with disabilities in 13 counties across Ireland. 952 applications were made to WAM roles last year with a third of applicants invited for interviews. Over 200 staff from WAM Employers engaged in WAM specific training and over 1000 attendees at WAM/WIDE Employer events. WAM continued engagement with the public sector through the fourth year of the Permanency Pathway in the Civil Service, and the fourth year of our partnership with the Local Government sector.
