Workshops

At Building the Future we will have three workshops taking place throughout the day. The first workshop will kick off at 10am and the other two workshops will take place between 1pm - 2pm. These workshops will be hosted by employers and will explore some of the most relevant and important topics relating to beginning your career as a disabled graduate or student.

• 10.00am - Approaching CVs and Interviews with Confidence (Bord Bia)
  • This practical workshop will cover some tips and tricks for developing your CV, and some guidance on preparing for interviews.
• 1.00pm - Bridging into Tech: Supported Employment Pathways into Ireland’s Tech Sector (FIT)
  • In this workshop, the team will introduce the landscape of the tech sector in Ireland, highlight the routes into the sector and give some information on their apprenticeship programme. They will also touch on disclosure, accommodations and the specific supports that their programmes have in place to support applicants.
