Each presentation during the Lightning Session will be six to eight minutes, using a maximum of six slides. These rapid fire presentations will serve as a great introduction to projects, resources and approaches to inclusive education and learner support across the sector.

This presentation will share learning from early career progression initiatives and the Inclusive Workplaces micro-credential for employers.

The Role of University in Preparing Students with Special Needs for Future Work

Wroclaw Tech is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment, enhancing the academic and career prospects of students with special needs through various initiatives: 1. Accessibility Leaders: These leaders provide tailored support and necessary accommodations. The example of support for intern with hearing impairment will be presented. 2. Tutoring for Professional Skills: Focused on individual development, tutoring helps students build confidence and skills, benefiting them academically and professionally. as they receive guidance tailored to their specific career goals. The example of professional development of student with ASD will be presented. 3. Specialized Workshops and Counseling: Organized by Career Services, individual counseling and workshops offer resources for career development, including job search strategies, interview preparation, and workplace accommodations. An example workshop plan includes strategies for students and alumni with special needs to thrive professionally. These actions underscore Wroclaw Tech's commitment to inclusivity and student success, ensuring all students have the support they need to excel.
